Diamond Painting Cupcakes!
Hey reader!
I took a trip on my lunch break a week ago and found Diamond Art on sale at Michael's. Everyone loves a good sale, and I have wanted to try a new Diamond Art. You might recall that the last diamond art was beginner level. This one is considered advanced. Here is the thing: all that has changed is the size. I am not sure that is more challenging, just more time consuming.
I don't know what I expected. I can't even really make a joke of how I would have made this project more challenging. Actually, I can. Have you heard of Holey Moley? It is a miniature golf competition show that added obstacle courses to up the difficulty and the viewership. Think Wipeout with more golf.
Fortunately, I wasn't expected to run through any windmills while I completed this project. I guess windmills wouldn't make sense on a crafting related obstacle course show. I guess I would be more likely to be forced to navigate through giant foam scissors or jump through a big paint brush.
This is starting to feel more like Double Dare than a crafting game show. If Marc Summers hosts I am so on board.
I feel like I have to alert you to something. I just had to search for the proper spelling of Marc Summers' name. I thought it was "Marc Sommers," and boy is my face red. However, in my search I stumbled upon the Double Dare Live tour. Marc Summers is coming to a city near you for a live episode of Double Dare. It doesn't look like it is quite at the scale of the original, but does that matter?
I am waiting for the touring production of Figure It Out or a Clarissa Explains It All reunion show. Honestly, I wouldn't even care that none of them look like kids anymore. Make it happen people!
How did we even get here!? Back to the cupcake art. It looks super awesome and is currently up on my office door because I am an adult who decorates my office like an adult.
Don't forget to trim your edges when you are done with your Diamond Art. Also, I definitely got a deal because a similarly sized project is 60 bucks at Michael's now!
Keep making cool stuff,
Until next time,
JoshPrime
